The safe has a new resident; A mix-n-match A2 built on a DPMS lower with a Colt upper. Very shortly we'll know if it wants to shoot... and then the fun begins.

For technical stuff, the Marine Corps Maintenance Manual can't be beat... Download free on the web at different places.
I liked "Green Eyes and Black Rifles." Not much re: detail stripping or technical maintenance, but you won't find better instruction on shooting a carbine.
