So.... here I am looking at AR lower receivers for a build project.... and one gentleman reader points out the products of York Arms. On top of all their other attractive features, the buyer can have custom engraving done. It appears... just about anything.
Well friends and neighbors, what say you? What would be proper for a 'Carteach0' custom AR-15 build?

Carteach;
I placed an order two weeks ago for a custom lower from York Arms.
I wanted my AF serial # as its serial #, the Marine Corps EGA (Eagle Globe & Anchor) on both sides of the magwell (for my son), the caliber marking .223 Wylde Poodle, and the biohazard emblem in place of Fire on the safety.
I was told 8 weeks for delivery.
I'm beginning to have some fun spec'ing out my new rifle.
A word of caution, some parts are long long lead time, such as the
20" Wylde chambered White Oak barrel is at 18 ~ 20 weeks.
Carteach0,
As a longtime reader, I got quite the chuckle out of seeing one of my receivers posted on your site. Please don't hestitate to let me know just what you are thinking for a truly custom lower receiver!

Roger,
I am experiencing those 'long lead times' already, with Rock River. My NM upper is still a few months out. On the other hand, that gives me time to work out plans for the lower.
Wally, The infamous 'ZerCool' is the one who pointed me in your direction, and your interesting work. I'll drop you a note directly. Thanks for reading!
I'm thinking a smiley face. Yes, definitely a smiley face.
Do a Mt. Rushmore-style image, but use the faces of Schumer, Feinstein, Frank, and Obama. Maybe I'm a sicko, but the idea cracks me up!
Antibubba
Schumer, Feinstein, Frank, and Obama. !!
Don't give them any ideas.
