Back to the GRPC this morning, to listen again to the shining stars of the gun rights movement.

If I had one single thing to take away from yesterdays speakers and discussions, it's simply this:  Every Single Person involved must take part, and when this happens... we win. It's been made very evident in the last few years as gun owners chock up win after win.... but only when we all get out and make ourselves heard!

One more point, and it's one that speaker after speaker made..... this upcoming election may be the most important, and most dangerous, of our lifetime.   Just as our economy has been a on a roller coaster to hell, so could our civil rights be.... and that's a cliff we must fight to avoid.

I was listening to "Cam & Company" the other night, and he brought up the same thing. Even in rights-hating states like New York, if we all band together and let our "representatives" know how we fell, we at least have a chance to make things change.
Sitting on the couch watching the toob does nothing, no matter how much you might gripe.
As a wise man once said, "All politics is local", and we must start at the local level.
Glad to hear you're having a good time there.

Throughout my Appleseed events I constantly remind our students that one man (or woman) CAN make a difference. This one individual rarely knows that his efforts will change the world as he is doing it--in fact may never in his lifetime realize the contribution he made--but the long look at history shows that one person's efforts may lead to consequences wholly unimagined. I like to mention Timothy Murphy or Sybil Ludington, for instance.

Glad to have had your company at the conference. Thanks for being there.
