Bravo company takes a stand....

Word on the street is Bravo Company just told the police chief of Milwaukee to take a hike on a bid for 'patrol rifles'.  Seems the police chief went before congress and explained all about how the peasants should not have effective weapons for self defense.  My understanding is Bravo Company had the bid sewn up to replace all of the cities 'Patrol Rifles'.

Folks, Carteach has dealt with Bravo company in the past, and found them to be good folks making quality products at decent prices.  Now, they have gone a giant step beyond that, and set profit aside in favor of honesty, honor, and principles.  

On that term 'Patrol Rifle'...... I'll be honest..... it's offensive as hell to me, and I'll tell you why.   It's a term designed solely to tell a lie.

You see, when those who would stomp on human rights want to keep honest citizens from having such a weapon, it's called an 'Assault Rifle' or a 'Weapon Of War', when it isn't even close.  On the other hand, when they want them for themselves, they are suddenly transformed into 'Patrol Rifles' or 'Personal Defense Weapons' and dozens.... hundreds..... even thousands are ordered using taxpayer money.

They chose such weapons for themselves because they are effective, accurate, and save lives over other choices.  For us .... suddenly people like Police chief Flynn are far less concerned about effective self defense.   The plain truth... to people like him, we don't count as worth protecting.

Back to the point:  Bravo Company has taken a stand, as upwards of 100 other companies in the industry have, and will sell products to government agencies only when they stand for freedom and follow their oaths to the constitution.  To me, that means we need to stand solidly with such companies and give them our business.  

They have earned it.
