What's in your pocket?

I've been carrying a Kershaw Ken Onion Blur ever since Marko shared their existence with us. Three years now?

In any case... it's still holding up to daily use and abuse, still springs open faster than I can see it move, and still fulfills it's mission.

I like it.  A simple blade*, takes an edge, strong, and not so expensive I will cry if it vanishes one day.

What's in your pocket?

*Oh... and don't go for looking for the exact same blade design as mine.  It's been reshaped a bit to suit my needs.

My knife for when I'm not working is a Lil' Muk by Blind Horse Knives, I've carried it for a couple of years. I also carry a belt survival kit in an Altoids tin, inside the tin is a small Wenger Swiss Army Knife (the Viking model, no longer made). My work knife is a Boy Scout pattern made by Keen Kutter, carried in a belt pouch.

Good beater knife.

I have carried a Victorinox Tinker in my left pocket for over 20 years now. The one in my right gets swapped around now and then but at the moment its a Case Sod Buster Jr. Both are outstanding knives that are used multiple times daily.

I often have my Leatherman Charge TTi in my pocket, but a new Kershaw Blur S30V will be arriving on Friday. Apples and oranges, sure, but I'm really looking forward to a high-quality folder

Gone back to the basics. Victorinox SAK. A Tinker, in this case, the one with the little pliers built in.

I carried one from 1975 until about 1995. At that time I sent it back in to the company to get fixed. Every blade and tool had some nick or other damage. They rebuilt the whole thing. And then, I lost it. :-((((

Kershaw Ken Onion "Leek" Sandvik steel holds an wicked sharp edge, and it's an easy one-handed knife. I own at least 4 of them in various colors, but my daily carry is all black.

Right pocket: CRKT M16 variant (I have several)
Left pocket: Spyderco Military

Usually accompanied with several other knives on my person or in my ruck. I scare people at work, apparently, even though I'm a teddie bear... :)

Gerber Silver Knight 2.5" and a Leatherman Micra.
The Gerber is pushing 30 years and the Micra is close to 15.

I have and love my Leek - the blade shape suits my needs better.

But the only knives I carry are multi-tools - a big Swiss, and an ancient basic Leatherman.

My wife gave me a much too expensive Spyderco folder with turquoise scales she got from a jeweler, for Xmas, years ago. She got mad because I left it in the drawer, so I started using it. Sure enough, I broke the tip and then dropped on concrete and shattered the scales.
Carried a Gerber LST for years, it weighs next to nothing. Sharpe as a razor. Broke several of them also.
Currently I have both a Leek and a Scallion from Kershaw in different pockets. Happy with them both, as long as I don't lose them.

It's interesting to read what folks are carrying for pocket tools.

Over the years, I've had any number of belt-multi-tools and folding knives. Single bladed and multi.

Now, I'm kind of down to a single bladed Kershaw as shown. Simple, strong, and big enough to serve. In another pocket, a 300 lumen flashlight. In a shirt pocket, a simple little screwdriver.

Now, I do have knives stashed around the house, in the car, in range bags, in the tool box, in the garage, in the kitchen, etc. They are just too useful!

I carry a Tribal Knife and Tactical "No Bailout" folder. I got a heck of a deal on it as they were closing out that model. I don't know why they stopped making it, it is one of the toughest knives I have ever had. The black finish on it is incredibly hard, completely impervious to my abuses.....

I operate a marina, hands on at every level. I've tried everything and found what works for me is an Ontario Knife Works Rat3. It cuts, prys open paint cans and other things, scrapes, chisels, can be used as a light hammer/blunt striker, etc.
No, it's not in my pocket but is always on my belt and is used numerous times every day.

I also have a Blur, having discovered them from the same place as you, but the most commonly found knife in my pocket is the A.G. Russell Featherlite One Hand knife. Nothing I've found has the combination of a usable size and good steel (AUS-8) in a package that rides so unobtrusively in the pocket.

Mine the last couple of years has been a Kershaw don't-know-the-model; the dealer had a display piece I liked, last one and the box was missing.

Good knife; tight fitting, smooth & fast-opening, holds an edge quite well.
