Federal 230-grain Hydra-Shok.
Have to include 230gr Ball as the baseline. Are you BBQing all this pork butt for Super Bowl Sunday?...LOL
230 gr. Gold Dots, please.
I've always been partial to Winchester Ranger and Federal hydra shock.
Federal HST is probably the newest load with wide spread use by LEO
230 HydraShok please!
Or 230 gr. PDX? CCI I believe?
I'm using Federal Hydra Shocks myself.Brass
I stuff Winchester White Box JHPs in my 1911 when I carry it. Not new-fangled but they go bang. When I'm carrying the .40 it's Rangers..380 eats PDX.
I like the Winchester PDX1 Defender. But mileages, variance and whatnot.
I've never seen the need to get to fancy with it. Stay with the basics, like Winchester white box 230 grain FMJ. Available nearly everywhere, and goes bang every time.
Black Hills 230 Gr JHP +P is a nice load.
I carry hornady critical defense in everything. The .45 is 185 grain ftx
CorBon DPX 185gr Solid copper hollow point +P?
Im late to this party, my apologies.Federal 230 grain Hydra-Shok. I think it is still the best all around performer on the market.Shoot a pork LOIN, not a butt. The medium should be homogeneous - everything will expand when it hits bone. After picking out fragments, can still make a delicious pork green chile stew.
230 gr. Federal HST185 gr. Speer Gold Dot
